Top Film & TV Apps on Android in Greece, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the film and television app market in Greece saw varied performance across the top five Android applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps experienced different trends in downloads, active users, and revenue.

COSMOTE TV saw a significant uptick in weekly downloads, peaking at around 22.9K in mid-December. This increase was complemented by a rise in weekly active users, reaching approximately 181.3K by the end of December.

EON TV experienced a notable surge in downloads, with numbers climbing to about 35.9K in early December. The app's active user base also grew, reaching around 92.5K by the end of the year.

Disney+ maintained a strong revenue stream, with weekly earnings peaking at $67.3K in late November. Although downloads fluctuated slightly, they remained steady, while active users saw a gradual decline, ending the year at approximately 77.3K.

ERTFLIX showed growth in downloads, particularly in the last two weeks of December, with figures reaching 8K. Active users increased as well, ending the quarter at nearly 133K.

Stremio saw its downloads peak in late December at about 7.8K. Despite a downward trend in active users for most of the quarter, there was a recovery towards year-end, with active users reaching 65.1K.
